Spring Hill Boys and Girls Club

Lead Designer for Teen Center in Deland, FL

Quick Facts:

  • 2,400 sqft new building on the site of an existing building to be demolished.

  • Lead the project design, from Concept to Construction Documents.

  • Design and production assistance from additional staff at RLF Architects.

New to Old

The existing working class neighborhood needed a safe place for their teens to hang out after school and during the summer break. The Boys and Girls Club of Volusia and Flagler Counties requested RLF to create a Teen Center Concept to replace the existing house and pavillion.

While small in size, this project aims to make a big impact in the neighborhood by using honest materials and methods of construction to blend into the historical context.

This project was delivered to 100% Construction Documents.
